I'm a highly qualified graphic design and production expert with an additional specialty in automating Adobe Creative Cloud software, Microsoft Office software, and various other scriptable programs, in AppleScript, JavaScript, and Python, to perform complex and repetitive design and production tasks that can save your team time and money.

From my experiences with award-winning design agency Hornall Anderson, Microsoft, Eddie Bauer, Hasbro, Dakine, Star Wars, Pokémon, The Simpsons, Harry Potter, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and many other world-class brands and companies, I have developed a broad, cross-disciplinary approach to meeting the contemporary needs of brands and design departments, using consistent file building techniques, templates to reduce duplicated work, scripts to automate typesetting from data-driven spreadsheets, and many of my own unique technical innovations, to help turn around designs quickly and improve graphic production workflows, both digitally and in print.
I do this with excellent communication skills, learned insights, and high technical accuracy. I treat my work with a scientific precision that allows me to develop more efficient production methods for a variety of applications, both online and in print.
I have done a great deal of remote work in my career, and I have a home office set up with state-of-the-art equipment, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, various scripting platforms and much more. I can help your team catch up when you're behind and put you on the path to incredible productivity. My workflow improvements are still in place at multiple Fortune 500 companies, sometimes almost a decade later!
I'm particularly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, having worked in the graphic design and production industry with this software for 20 years in complex, high volume production environments. I know how to fix color, correct image imperfections, transform shapes and sizes while retaining proper layout composition, and reduce processing time. I'm incredibly proud of what I've accomplished.
Fusil Creative Group is an organization that I created for my commercial work. Fusil, which according to Merriam-Webster means liquified by heat and melting and pouring into forms, is a nod to the days of metal type, when the graphic arts required forms created from metal to implement a design. Today, it's all electrons, but the goal remains the same: to capture the essence of an idea and create something with a spark that adds value to our lives.
